That’s why we’re excited to announce our Community Surplus Vehicle Program, where retired CAT vehicles find new purpose in the hands of eligible organizations!📆 Program Schedule:1. View Available Vehicles by Appointment: September 1 & 8, 2023.2. Application Deadline: September 22, 2023.3. Application Review & Awardee Selection: September 23 – October 6, 2023.4. Awardee Announcement: October 24, 2023.5. Vehicle Claim & Removal Deadline: November 15, 2023.🌐 Eligibility:All non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations and agencies serving Chatham County are welcome to apply. Not sure about your 501(c)(3) status? Visit the IRS website for guidance. Applicants must also meet other requirements, including proving not-for-profit status, vehicle use within Chatham County, and compliance with reporting and usage guidelines.🔍 Selection Process & Criteria:Our committee of CAT staff will evaluate applications based on demonstrated community benefit, service coordination, clarity, and quality.
