Employer Pass Program
At CAT we believe it is our duty to help the hardworking citizens of Chatham County get to their jobs. To that end, we work with area employers to build partnerships and programs that make it easy and affordable for their employees to get to work.
For businesses that may not be ready for the U-Pass Program, the Employer Pass Program offers a convenient, cost-saving option to encourage employees to use public transportation to and from work.
How It Works
With the goal of rewarding employees who are using public transportation and encouraging other employees to give it a try, the Employer Pass Program starts with a trial period to determine employee interest and customize the program to employer’s needs.
A long-term contract can then be developed to allow the employer to provide their employees access to CAT services at a discounted rate.
To speak with us about the possibilities for your company, please email our Marketing & Business Development department or call (912) 629-3916.
The Internal Revenue Code allows employers to offer nontaxable qualified transportation fringe (QTF) benefits under Sec. 132(f). These benefits include mass transit benefits, van pools, qualified parking, and some other commuter benefits. Read more about the benefits by clicking here.
Check back regularly to learn about more programs and initiatives as we launch them, or visit our Commuters page for information about additional commuting options.
