CAT Wellness Wall Art Mural Competition

Contest Overview:

Chatham Area Transit is putting an artistic spin to health and fitness, and we need YOUR help to do it.

One of our main goals at CAT is to provide a supportive environment for our hard-working employees and that includes a renovated wellness center.

The Wellness Center will be made up of gym equipment, a quiet corner, and future group fitness classes. But we want our CAT employees to have something incredible to look at while taking care of their well-being.

That’s where YOU come in.

CAT is looking for local artists to bring their artistic best to our WELLNESS WALL.  It’s a 7’5” ½ HIGH and 12’ Wide brick wall. The art will be seen by every CAT Employee who enters our wellness center.

The Importance of Physical Activity in the Workplace:

CAT knows how vital physical and mental health is in creating a great workplace.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, full-time employees spend most of their day at their jobs. The CDC also suggests healthy work environments improve the daily lives of Americans.

Wellness Wall Art Mural Qualifications?

The competition is open to artists who are currently living in Chatham County. The artist must be 18 years or older at the time of applying.

Contest Submission Rules:

Participants will have to submit their information and a picture of their original art by Friday, July 1st at 11:59 p.m. Applications will open on Monday, June 13^th at 11 a.m.

The CAT Art Committee will then pick three finalists and set up a zoom interview to understand the artists’ inspiration behind the mural. The CAT Wellness Wall Mural must resemble community, health, wellness and feature the word CAT in the painting.

Terms & Conditions:

CAT will not take responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed or cannot be delivered for any technical or other reason. By entering, the art must be 100% original and the participant is the sole and exclusive owner.

Wellness Wall Art Mural:

Designs will have to fit 7’5” ½ HIGH and 12’ Wide brick wall.

Wellness Wall Art Mural Payment:

The winning entry will receive a $1500 reward that’s sponsored by Parker’s.
