Chatham Area Transit is marking Diabetes Awareness Month on Monday by partnering with Healthy Savannah and Forsyth Farmers’ Market’s Farm Truck 912 program (FT912).

FT912 is a mobile farmers’ market that brings local seasonal fruits and vegetables to Savannah neighborhoods.

FT912 will be parked at the Joe Murray Rivers, Jr. Intermodal Transit Center, 610 W. Oglethorpe Avenue, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15. Credit, debit, cash is accepted as forms of payment. In addition, the farm truck accepts and doubles SNAP/EBT benefits.

In addition, Healthy Savannah will have a booth set up during event to promote equitable opportunities for residents to engage in physical activity and consume a nutritious, balanced diet.

ALERT: Fixed-route and CAT Mobility paratransit services are experiencing disruptions in service including unusual delays. We ask for your patience as we work to resolve these issues.
