CAT Safety & Training Director tapped for SDBA’s hurricane panel

Savannah, Ga. – Chatham Area Transit’s Director of Safety, Training and Environmental Services, Erica Franklin, will be participating next week in the Savannah Downtown Business Association’s virtual luncheon to discuss hurricane preparedness during COVID-19. The free event also will include representatives from CEMA, Infinity and the Southeast GA Chapter of the American Red Cross. The event is being held via Zoom at 12 p.m. on Sept. 16.

During the event, Franklin will discuss CAT’s support during evacuations as a community life line, evacuation preparedness and planning, and mitigation techniques for COVID-19.

The luncheons are designed to inform and educate SDBA members on topics relevant to sustaining a healthy, well-rounded and profitable downtown, according to the non-profit’s website.
