CAT anticipating service disruptions on Saturday

Chatham Area Transit services are expected to be disrupted on Saturday due to a large number of employees taking off to attend the funeral of a long-time operator who passed away last week.

CAT is attempting to get alternative operators to fill the shifts that will be impacted, but there are still expected to be delays in service as a result of the absences and an ongoing operator shortage.

CAT is aware these expected disruptions will negatively impact customers and officials are working to ensure the operator vacancies are adequately filled to prevent similar issues in the future.
