2022 – Chatham Connects Master Transit Plan
The Master Transit Plan, conducted in 2022, will respond to changing mobility needs by developing regional mobility strategies, including considering new ways of offering public transportation. The project will advance mobility in Chatham County by designing a modern transit network. The study will conclude in 2023. For more information, click here.

2019 – Let’s Go! route redesign initiative
The Let’s Go! initiative was conducted in 2019-2020 to determine how CAT’s route system could be improved. Read about the initiative and its recommendations here.
2018 – CAT Strategic Plan FY2018-2022

2017 – Origin and destination study
In an effort to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, CAT conducted an origin and destination analysis using AirSage data, which is based on cellular network information. Read the executive summary or full report.
2015 – West Chatham Mobility Study
To evaluate whether areas of west Chatham County required or could benefit from public transportation services, the Center for Urban Transportation Research conducted a mobility study in early 2015. Read the study here.
2013 – Transit Development Plan
The Center for Urban Transportation Research conducted CAT’s Transit Development Plan (TDP) in 2012 to create a five-year business plan (2013-2018) for the transit agency. The TDP can be viewed here.
