December 31st – New Year’s Eve
Buses will run the HOLIDAY SCHEDULE today. The Customer Service Ride Line will be available during regular Saturday hours, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. The Ticket Window and administrative offices will be closed as usual on Saturday.
January 1, 2017 – New Year’s Day
CAT is CLOSED today. All services are temporarily suspended and will resume regular weekday service tomorrow (Monday, January 2nd).
Along with the many other businesses observing the holiday today, we are happy to allow our employees to start the new year with their families, reflecting on the year just past and charging up for a fresh year of service and dedication. We’d like to wish a Happy New Year to them and to you!
January 11th – Monthly Public Meeting
At the suggestion of our customers, we have implemented regularly occurring public meetings. These monthly meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Transit Center at 6:00 PM. Come speak with CAT staff! We want to hear your feedback, specifically about the proposed discontinuation of the late-night Prowler service. Join us at the Transit Center (610 W. Oglethorpe Ave.) at 6:00 PM.
January 16th – MLK Day
Buses will run on the HOLIDAY SCHEDULE today. The Ticket Window and Customer Service Ride Line will be open regular hours. Administrative offices will be closed. Service will also be affected by the parade to honor Dr. King’s memory and legacy held in downtown Savannah this morning. Please expect minor delays and detours around the parade area, and visit our Alerts page for details.
January 24th – CAT Board Meeting
CAT Board Meetings are regularly scheduled on the third Tuesday of each month at the Joe Murray Rivers, Jr. Intermodal Transit Center at 10:00 AM. This month, however, the date has been pushed back a week and will be an hour later, starting at 11:00 AM. These meetings are open to the public. For more information such as future meeting dates, the agenda planned for each meeting, and copies of minutes from past meetings, visit our Board of Directors page.
