60 & 61 Orange and Blue Shuttles
Savannah’s growing student population relies on CAT to get to their classes, to and from work, and to exciting local spots throughout Savannah. Many students also utilize our Bike & Ride program and are showing established Savannah residents that you don’t need a car to move efficiently and inexpensively around the city.
To make this easier for students in Savannah, we have introduced the Orange and Blue Shuttles serving Savannah State University, making it easier than ever for students to get to and from campus.
We also introduced the CAT Prowler in October 2011, a free shuttle that runs on Friday and Saturday nights, safely transporting students from campus to popular night spots in Downtown Savannah and back again.
This is in addition to our routes already serving college campuses: the 12 Henry and 24 Savannah State/Wilmington Island serve SSU; the 6 Crosstown and 14 Abercorn serve AASU; and the 4 Barnard serves Savannah Technical College.
We also provide service to South University via the 27 & 28 Waters Rds and the 31 Skidaway/Sandfly routes. Savannah College of Art and Design is set up on campuses throughout Savannah and is served by the 14 Abercorn as well as many other routes. Additionally, most of our fixed routes serve the local high schools. For specific route information, please visit our Maps & Schedules section.
