October 8th – Monthly Public Meeting

meeting/discussion picAt the suggestion of our customers, CAT has implemented regularly occurring public meetings. These monthly meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Transit Center at 6:00 PM. Come speak with CAT staff! We want to hear your feedback and discuss planned schedule and fare adjustments for October. Join us at the Transit Center (610 W. Oglethorpe Ave.) at 6:00 PM.

October 11th – Fiesta Latina

Head down to River Street today for the 9th annual Fiesta Latina! Sample the flavors, enjoy the live dancing, and participate in the many family-friendly activities of this amazing culture’s festival.

Park on Hutchinson Island and take the FREE Savannah Belles Ferry right over to the festival.

October 20-24th – Try Transit Week

Try Transit Week logoAs part of the national effort to introduce people to the benefits and savings of transit, CAT invites you to celebrate Try Transit Week with us from October 20-24th. Commute by bus to work one day, Catch a CAT to the mall, or check out a CAT Bike for a leisurely ride. Transit helps people move more, save more, and contribute to a cleaner environment. Give transit a try this Try Transit Week!

October 21st – CAT Board Meeting

board roomCAT Board Meetings are scheduled on the third Tuesday of each month at the Joe Murray Rivers, Jr. Intermodal Transit Center at 10:00 AM. October 27th – Mammogram Day, Free Transportation

PTTP_CAT_flyer-2014For Breast Cancer Awareness month, CAT has once again partnered with St. Joseph’s/Candler and the Savannah Morning News’ Paint The Town Pink initiative to make your preventive healthcare a little easier to get. Customers going to or from mammograms at the following 3 locations can ride FREE by showing the driver their appointment card.

  • St. Joseph’s Hospital – 11705 Mercy Blvd. (Route 14)
  • Candler Hospital’s Telfair Pavilion – 5353 Reynolds St. (Routes 11, 27)
  • Telfair Breast Imaging Center-Eisenhower – 527 Eisenhower Dr. (Routes 4, 6, 20, 27, 28, 31)
