November 11th – Veterans Day
Veterans Day is today, and there is a parade to honor all those who have served. The ceremony is expected to start at 10:30 AM at Bull & Broughton with the parade winding around downtown and ending on East Broad Street. Please prepare for slight detours or delays, and come out to support our brave, selfless servicemen and servicewomen.
November 12th – Monthly Public Meeting
At the suggestion of our customers, CAT has implemented regularly occurring public meetings. These monthly meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Transit Center at 6:00 PM. Come speak with CAT staff! We want to hear your feedback. Join us at the Transit Center (610 W. Oglethorpe Ave.) at 6:00 PM.
November 15th – Savannah Children’s Book Festival
Hailed as the largest children’s book festival in the country, this free event is always a fun way to spend a Saturday. The 11th annual Savannah Children’s Book Festival takes place 10:00 AM-4:00 PM at Forsyth Park (unless it rains–then festivities move to the Civic Center). There will be books, music, and authors galore, so why not check it out!
November 18th – CAT Board Meeting
CAT Board Meetings are scheduled on the third Tuesday of each month at the Joe Murray Rivers, Jr. Intermodal Transit Center at 10:00 AM.
